Becomes a River |

In a collaboration with students at Kamiyama High School we created this public artwork at Oawayama mountain. Stones from the river become a path through the woods. A map of the river is carved into the stones. At the end of the path, a bench looks out at a view of the valley and the river below. Local community members participated in each aspect of carving and installation. |
